Reporting reminder for Georgia and South Carolina special elections

June 5, 2017

Pre-election reports are due Thursday, June 8 for candidates and committees active in the June 20 special elections in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District and South Carolina’s 5th District. Principal campaign committees of candidates who seek election in either race must file a pre-election report covering financial activity through May 31. Political action committees and party committees not filing monthly must file a pre-election report if they have made previously undisclosed contributions or expenditures in connection with either election during the pre-election reporting period. For more information on reporting dates, see the FEC’s Dates and Deadlines page.
